- Reliable and dependable
- Easy to read buttons and display
- Inflates as fast or faster than hand pumping
- Lightweight and compact
What we didn’t like:
- Pump 2nd stage is a little loud
- Inflate and deflate port labeling is difficult to read
- No built in cord storage
Bottom Line
The built in cooling fan, 2 stage pump, and affordable price make it the best choice for inflating several boards in a row.
The Outdoor Master Shark 2 Pump is one of the best electric SUP pumps available today. It is one of the most popular SUP pumps on Amazon for good reason. I have been using one since the beginning of last summer and it does what it says. It reliably inflates paddleboards without overheating to any pressure up to 20 psi.
It has a built in cooling fan allowing it to inflate 3 or more boards in a row. We have used it on hot days to inflate a few boards at a time. It can inflate and deflate. The second stage is a bit loud once it kicks in but so is every pump we have tried so far. If you want a reliable electric pump that works, this is the one for you.

What we didn’t like:
- It is slower than the fastest pumps we have tested
- A bit more expensive than other pumps
Bottom Line
The NIXY Ventus comes with the most complete accessory set including a bag and 12 volt plug. It can robustly inflate as many boards in a row as you can find it hook it up to.
The Nixy Ventus Electric SUP Pump is another good option if you need to pump up several boards in a row. This would be our runaway favorite pump if it just inflated boards faster. The manufacturer claims it can pump up to 10 boards in a row. We have inflated over 7 in a row testing it.
It has a separate cooling fan like the OutdoorMaster Shark 2 pump to keep it from overheating. It takes several minutes longer to inflate a board than the iRocker pump.
This pump has a lot of good features besides being able to pump up several boards. It comes with a really nice carrying bag. It has a nice cord organizer built into the bottom. There is an available battery as well.

- Simple and easy to use controls
What we didn’t like:
- Target pressure not shown on the display while inflating
- Questionable warranty and customer service
- Cannot pump more than 1 board without cooling off
Bottom Line
A good cheap dual stage electric paddleboard pump good for inflating 1 board that is sold under a lot of names.
The Serenelife SLPUMP30 is a cheap 2 stage pump that can inflate and deflate. It is sold by Serenelife which makes one of the most popular cheap paddleboards on Amazon. It can inflate up to 20 psi with quick inflation times.
It is only designed to inflate one board at a time. It inflates 1 board well. If you need to inflate 2, 3, or more boards look at one of the other options.
Serenelife customer service and warranty do not have a great reputation if the pump stops working. This pump is sold by many sellers including SeaMax. Shop around for the best price.

4. Best Battery Powered Pump – Outdoor Master Whale

Specifications
- Max Pressure – 16 PSI
- Inflation Speed Test – 9min 22sec
- Inflate Multiple Boards –
- Size – Yes 2+
- Weight – 6.25 lbs
- Battery – Yes, built in
Overall Score
What we liked:
- The battery has enough power to inflate several boards on a single charge
- You can use the pump anywhere
- The pump inflates boards as fast as any 12 volt powered pump
- The built in cooling pump lets it pump 3 or more boards in a row without overheating
What we didn’t like:
- The max pressure is only 16 psi
- The pump is a little bigger and heavier than non battery powered electric SUP pumps
- Higher cost
Bottom Line
The pump we use the most for inflating all our boards. The extra convenience of battery power and ability to pump several boards in a row makes it worth the added cost.
The OutdoorMaster Whale Rechargeable SUP Pump is great for battery powered pump. We have 2 of these and use them more than all our other pumps combined. We inflate 4-6 SUP’s and Kayaks every trip to the lake. The ability to inflate and deflate boards away from your car with an electric pump is a game changer for convenience. I have had a Whale for a few months now and it is my most used pump. It’s pricey but the built in battery makes it worth the added cost.
This pump may seem expensive. An external battery for another pump will set you back $80 to $100. The price for the Whale is very reasonable when you factor in the combined battery and pump cost for other brands.
It has a built in 6000mah Li-Ion battery with enough charge to inflate more than 1 paddleboard. This pump can use the built in battery or a 12 volt car out making it incredibly versatile. The only real downside is it’s on the heavy side. It weighs 6.25 lbs. Its electric pump can inflate at least 2 boards on a charge. The pump has a built in active cooling fan similar to the popular Shark Pump. It can pump more than one board without overheating.

5. Best Battery Pump for Large Boards – Airbank Whale Shark Pro

Specifications
- Max Pressure – 20 PSI
- Inflation Speed Test – 7min 49sec
- Inflate Multiple Boards – Yes up to 5
- Size – 12.6″ X 7.7″ X 4.8″
- Weight – 4.4 lbs
- Battery – Yes 7500 mah
Overall Score
What we liked:
- Can inflate large 12’6″ paddleboards to 20 psi on battery
- Can inflate many boards in a row on a single charge
- Onboard storage for the 12 volt charge cord
- Air hose is stored by snapping it around the pump case
What we didn’t like:
- The pump switches from low pressure to high pressure mode at too low pressure causing it to cycle several times on some boards
- LCD display is hard to read in bright light
Bottom Line
One of the few rechargeable battery powered electric paddleboard pumps available that can inflate a large 12’6″ board to 20 psi on a charge.
The Airbank Whale Shark Pro has a built in 7500 mah rechargeable battery that lets you inflate large boards to 20 psi. It has innovative storage for the air hose which snaps around the pump when not in use. The Whale Shark Pro is built to inflate many boards in a row on a single charge. It can be easily recharged using the 12 volt outlet in your car on the way to the lake or using a supplied 110 volt charger.
The Whale Shark Pro does have a few flaws including a hard to read LCD display and it switches between low and high pressure modes at a very low PSI. This causes it to cycle between modes several times while inflating some boards. If it weren’t for these 2 issues it would be our top pick for rechargeable pump. It’s still the best option if you want to inflate a 12’6″ touring board to 20 psi without plugging into your car or truck.

6. Best Compact Battery Pump – Airbank Puffer Pro

Specifications
- Max Pressure – 20 PSI
- Inflation Speed Test – 7 min 27sec
- Inflate Multiple Boards – Yes 1-3
- Size – 7.5 x 6.5 x 3.4 inches
- Weight – 2.8 lbs
- Battery – Yes 4000 mah
Overall Score
What we liked:
- Very compact size
- Comes with a carrying bag that can hold all the accessories and cords
- Has a separate cooling fan to allow it to inflate multiple boards
- Can inflate up to 20 psi (only smaller boards on battery power)
What we didn’t like:
- Pump is easily damaged by charging too soon after use
- Can’t inflate larger 12’6″ boards to 20 psi on one charge.
- USB cord charge rate is very slow
Bottom Line
One of the smallest electric paddleboard pumps available with or without an internal battery. Great for inflating 1 to 2 boards on battery power.
The Airbank Puffer Pro is one of the smallest electric paddleboard pumps out there. It is really small. It also has the ability to inflate boards to 20 psi. It also has a built in battery with enough juice to inflate 1 to 2 paddleboards. The Puffer just packs a ton of features into a little tiny pump.
It won’t inflate a 12’6″ board to 20 psi on a single charge. It will do it just fine off of 12 volt power. It will inflate a Red Paddle Co 10’6″ Ride to 20 psi on a charge with no problem. It will inflate 2 10’6 all around boards to 15 psi on one charge. It won’t do 3.
As a bonus, Puffer Pro also comes with a nice carrying bag that can fit all the charge cords and air hose. The only drawback we have found with the Puffer Pro is that you have to wait at least 30 minutes after using it before recharging. You can damage it if you don’t.

Bottom Line
A good durable 2 stage pump that gets the job done for 1 to 2 inflatable paddleboards
The Outdoor Master Cachalot is a great value pump that can inflate boards fast. It doesn’t have the active cooling of the O.M. Shark 2 making it less expensive. It is designed to be able to inflate 2 boards in a row which is all that many paddleboarders need. When we have to inflate 3 or more boards we start using more than 1 pump to save time. This pump is reliable and durable and has been a workhorse for us so far. If you don’t need to inflate 3 or more boards, the Cachalot is a great choice.
